What to expect this weekend with the New Moon Eclipse in Libra

It was hard to pinpoint one dominating energy today. I received an overload of information so I decided to use my good old trusted runes.

I like how they feel and look. The symbols all represent some deep truths that we all have access to. They can really add to tuning into the energy of the New Moon eclipse in Libra that is happening the 14th of October.

The first rune that I picked up came up as reversed. It is the rune called FLOW or Laguz.  Flow, water, that which conducts. When this rune shows upside down, when it is reversed, it often indicates a failure to draw upon the wisdom of instinct. As a result, the intuitive side of your nature may be languishing, leaving you out of balance. What is called for now is to go within, to honour the receptive side of your warrior nature. Yeah, what I was trying to do, I guess, was trying too hard because when it is reversed, it is a warning against overreach and excessive striving. Drawing flow reversed is a counsel against trying to exceed your own strength or to operate beyond the power you have funded to date in your life. You might feel at the moment, this big push to do something huge, something big, and you want it to happen now, and you really are getting a bit impatient.

This is a great time but don’t overreach. Don’t overreach yourself financially. Don’t overreach yourself emotionally, because this is a sign of water as well. You really want to stay centred with your most inner being. Things might look hectic and going on all around you and you think, Where do I need to jump in? You have this need to jump in. But what if you don’t? What if you stay true to yourself, your individual being for once, and just look at the world as a play in a theatre or a 3-D movie and you are the observer of it all. So you don’t put in unnecessary energy in any drama that is unfolding around you. You just look at it and look at it again and think: “Can I find peace within me?”

Can I feel peace within my heart chakra, within my deepest self? Even if there’s a lot of turmoil happening around New Moon Eclipses, how can I find inner peace? For me, finding inner peace is actually really simple. The only place you need to go is inside your heart, inside your true being. It is very peaceful there. Every Monday morning, I do a live Zoom at nine o’clock, Brisbane, Queensland, Australia time, where I bring people into that space, into that heart space and really feel the peace that is happening there, the abundance, the potential that is just ready to start flowing from you.

Instead of focusing so much on the outside world and wanting to put more out it pays to go more inside, and rest. Make the maximum of the opportunity that this new moon eclipse in libra has to offer for you.

The second rune:

I had planned for only one rune but I changed my mind so here is a second one. There is one sitting here at the bottom of my rune bag that wants to come out. Here we go the second rune for this week is called Joy. Here is what the accompanying book has to say about: “It is a fruit-bearing branch. The term of travel is ended and you have come to yourself in some regard. You can’t make that up. I’m just saying don’t go to do, to do, travel, is the French word for work. I’m not sure why this is in here. The shift that was due has occurred. Now you can freely receive Wunjo’s blessings, whether they be in material gain, in your emotional life, or in a heightened sense of your own wellbeing. This is an alchemical moment in which understanding is transmuted from knowledge. The knowledge itself was a necessary but not sufficient condition.

Now you can rejoice, having been carried across the gap by the will of heaven. Joyousness accompanies new energy, energy blocked before now. Light pierces the clouds and touches the waters just as something lovely emerges from the dead. The soul is illuminated from within at the meeting place of heaven and earth, the meeting of the waters. There is a new clarity which may call for you to renounce existing plans, ambitions, goals. It is proper and timely for you to do so, for Wunjo is a ruin of restoration of the self, properly aligned with the self.”

The upcoming eclipse this weekend might bring you that Fiat Lux moment that you have been waiting for. Suddenly that what was in the dark becomes light. You could out of the blue recognise that you have been putting your attention in the wrong spot. Or that you have been striving for something that is not in my best interest. We sometimes do that. We let ourself be convinced by other people to what is in our best interest. We forget that others are always looking at it from their perspective. We forget that we have all the knowledge within us. All this knowledge from the runes is within you.

All I do is  I pick it up and say it out loud, but you know all this and you recognise it.
